For more than 50 years, Ruby Mazur’s art has impacted more music, more movies, and more album covers than almost any other person alive.

He’s created album artwork for more than 3,000 different albums, for world-renowned artists like Elton John and for movies like the classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

It has been 50 years since Ruby created one of the most recognizable symbols of a rock band in the world, but a couple of years ago he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and was given 6 months to live. To the surprise of his doctors, he beat that, but unfortunately, he recently learned it had come back, first in his throat and now in his stomach, and it doesn’t look like he has much time left.

Ruby has made an impact on the world that will never be forgotten.
