What is a DAO?
A DAO, or “Decentralized Autonomous Organization,” is a community-led organization with no centralized leadership in a truly democratized system of governance. What that means, is that it is a community-run and ruled body of like-minded people who make real decisions in a truly democratic fashion concerning real-life changes concerning the team as a whole. It is fully autonomous and transparent: smart contracts lay the foundational rules, execute the agreed-upon decisions, and at any point, proposals, voting, and even the very code itself can be publicly audited.
Ultimately, a DAO is governed entirely by its members who collectively make critical decisions about the future of the project.

About the Artist, Jeffrey Kroll
Internationally acclaimed abstract artist Jeffrey Kroll’s paintings are in major private and corporate collections worldwide, including Paris – The Louvre, London, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Turin, Singapore, Mexico City, and Mykonos, Greece.
Kroll works in the abstract non-objective tradition, counting among his influences Picasso, Paul Klee, Kandinsky, Mondrian, and Willem de Kooning. His works build layers of meaning and color within an overarching spatial concept of extraordinary invention and unexpected nuance, a fluid dimensionality using color as the ‘supreme metaphysical catalyst.’
In addition to Kroll’s primary focus on pure painting, he began experimenting with mixed-media artwork. Initially sponsored by Nokia and then Samsung (using their digital camera technology), he developed an integrated marriage of digital printing and painting, a world-first.
Jeffrey Kroll is known and collected for his luminous, painterly abstract paintings. His first love of art was the Italian Renaissance and the depiction of the human figure. He furthered this passion with a study in Florence, Italy.
Kroll’s classical education has been the foundation of his football paintings. The drama of the human figure is in an intense atmosphere of struggle and creativity. Let us not forget the thousands of years of art history related to sport, as far back as the Ancient Greeks.
Looking Forward
Using our timeline for the development of the DAO, Group Sport will formalize the DAO in 2022/2023. Any Group Sport NFT holders will at that time be able to present their NFT for validation/verification, and they will be one-time gifted DAO membership appropriate to their NFT holdings. These membership tokens will form the foundation of the governance of the DAO and will bestow upon the owner certain participation and voting rights – the ownership experience.
