41-years-ago the television series Buck Rogers in the 25th Century went out fighting. What all started as the first comic book strip implemented into publication in 1929 went on to spark real world technological advancements and appear in more than 450 newspapers in 18 different languages.
Today, Buck Rogers’ legacy continues to live on in new and exciting ways, such as through the upcoming NFT comic releases that promise to combine the character’s rich history with cutting-edge blockchain technology.

Buck Rogers NFT comic releases with actual artifacts from the past will be available in a Metaverse, similar to MMORPGs, where users can explore independent systems and planets with immersive art, gameplay, and scheduled events. In addition, the new generation of Rocket Rangers is preparing for a darker reboot. There will be seven separate Buck Rogers NFT comic releases tethered to legacy items from Buck Rogers’ past that will have direct utility within the Metaverse.
The first drop will be the original newspaper ad in The New York Times in 1929, revealed through a Cosmic Wire animation of the untold story behind the ad. It will be offered as 1,111 digital assets divided into six layers of scarcity, delineated into Rocket Ranger ranks: Junior Enlisted, Private, Specialist, Corporal, Sergeant, and Sergeant Major. Each rank comes with vintage antiques from the 1930s that will have additional utility and content for the game within the Metaverse and indicate the order of command within the Buck Rogers Discord community.

Rocket Ranger’s Enlistment Guide for the NFT Comic Soul

All of Buck Rogers’ NFT comic shorts will be equipped with a digital Rocket Ranger’s Enlistment Guide. To provide context and backstory, the guide will be narrated by the most accredited Buck Rogers’ buff, the grandson of John Dille, Flint Dille. The first page of the Rocket Ranger’s Enlistment Guide will have an open space to insert collector’s artwork into a viewable reader to display their collection and get their redeemable benefits for the metaverse and in real life.Â
Following the first drop, the next three NFT comics will be animated panes for the Buck Roger’s Enlistment Guide, with the latter three slated to be items and gear specially for the metaverse integration such as a gun, spaceship and suit. The Sergeant Major 1-of-1 is paired with a never before available Buck Rogers ring (1934), an actual Balsa wood Buck Rogers Spaceship Kit (1936) as well as the coveted booklet and flyer issued to the original members of the Rocket Ranger Club (1933-1934). While all rangers will get to see how Buck Rogers saved Wilma for the first time ever in 2429 A.D.
